We look for practical ways to keep usable items out of the landfill. Donation-ready belongings are delivered when local organizations can accept them, and metal and other accepted materials are recycled whenever possible.
Here’s a look at what happens after pickup: appliances loaded for a scrap run, metal parts sorted on the ground, and the trailer unloading at the scrapyard. We separate recyclable materials when practical so they can go to the right facility. These are real photos from our work, including a few stills from Devin’s walkthrough.
Our goal is simple: give usable items another chance before treating them as waste. When local organizations can accept an item, we prioritize donation. Metal and other accepted materials are recycled when practical, and everything else is taken to an appropriate disposal facility.
We identify usable items that may be accepted by local donation organizations, separate recyclable metal and other accepted materials when practical, and take the remaining junk to an appropriate disposal facility. Acceptance depends on item condition, local organization needs and facility rules. We do not collect asbestos, chemicals, medical waste or unknown hazardous materials.
